The Kirkton of Maryculter is a small Aberdeenshire village near the River Dee with Neighbouring Peterculter on the other side. One of the two hotels in Maryculter has links to the Knights Templar, being sited on one of it's training grounds.

The Aberdeenshire children's theme park, Storybook Glen is also situated here and draws kids and their parents from miles around.
