Crieff Hydro is the best known hotel for holidays in Crieff, and for good reason, but there are plenty other places to stay in the town, in hotel, bed and breakfast establishements and guest houses. There are a few caravan parks in the area and camping within a few miles.
Crieff has good golf courses, swimming, tennis, shopping, walks, mountain biking, hillwalking, fishing, shooting and a dozen more things to do. Events in the town through the year include Crieff Highland Gathering, one of the country’s best highland games. There is also the Drovers Tryst in the autumn, a walking festival that keeps growing every year.
What else is near?
Just 10 minutes west is the village of Comrie, also known as Shaky Toon. It’s well worth a visit. The city of Perth is only 25 minutes drive to the east with all the things you’d expect in a large town/city. Auchterarder and Gleneagles are around 15 minutes drive south of Crieff.
