Monday, April 30, 2007 Free Admission to Visitor Attractions ![]() I've been contacted recently about a relatively new guidebook which details places you can visit free across the UK. Although I've not seen the book in the flesh , the concept is great and should be a must-buy book for families, backpackers or anyone wanting to reduce what they pay for days out to visitor attractions. FreeToDo UK and Ireland lists Attractions, Activities and Events throughout Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland, such as Castles, Museums, Art Galleries, Historic Houses and Sites, Gardens Parks and Walks, Markets and Festivals, all of which have Free Admission. The guide is available from Waterstones, Blackwells, Ottakers and WH Smiths, as well as through VisitBritain.com and their own website. www.freetodo.net Friday, April 13, 2007 10 Reasons to Take a Family Holiday in Scotland Monday, April 02, 2007 Tourist Reviews in Scotland
Over in the forum, someone has posted a piece about Extra Mile Scotland, a new website where you can post reviews of places you've visited and enjoyed the service at. It's a good looking site and worth a look.
