Wednesday, February 21, 2007 Scotland's Top Tourist Attractions
BBC have a report on visitor numbers to some of Scotland's top tourist attractions over the last year. Topping the list with the biggest increase in visitor numbers is the Falkirk Wheel - the rotating wheel that lifts boats from one canal to another one at a different level. The report doesn't seem to have included any attractions that are not members of ALVA (Association of Leading Visitor Attractions) such as Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum which had 2 million people through it's doors in the 1st 6 months of opening after refurbishment.
