Independent Hostel in Oban - Jeremy Inglis
I don't know what reminded me of this place, but I looked it up today to see if it was still there and lo an behold it was.
When I first stayed in Jeremy Inglis hostel in Oban it was 1991 and I took a double or twin room. It clean, comfy and had mad artwork all over the walls. At the time I thought of it as more of a strange bed and breakfast but I guess it always was a proper hostel with rooms.
Breakfast at this hostel meant going to the kitchen and helping myself to a huge bowl of fresh fruit and strawberries (then of course cleaning up afterwards).
So 15 years ago it was a great place to go. I wonder if it still is. Anyone stayed at Jeremy Inglis Hostel in Oban recently?
