My wife and I went to Scotland on our honeymoon in 2003, and had a wonderful time. We are planning on going back for our tenth anniversary, and are really looking forward to it!
The country is beautiful (parts of it are similar to the northeast US, where we live), the history is fascinating, and everyone we met was very pleasant and accomadating. I can't say enough good things about Scotland.
