Tuesday, January 18, 2005 Real Snow in Crieff
WOW!!! - it has finally snowed in Crieff. After 3 years of disasterous winters we woke this morning to 5 inches of fresh white snow. Only one thing for it. Bag work and get out on the golf course with various gravity aided sliding devices. There was a foot of snow up there.
Our 6 month old son got his first ride in a sledge and was less than impressed. Fresh powder snow straight on warm ground didn't make for the best sledging or skiing, so we gave up and came home for a bowl of soup. Now, just hours after it arrived, it's all melting. Still, any snow in Scotland is good snow. |
