The Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition Experience -
The Loch Ness Centre was founded in 1980 as the first ever exhibition based on the subject of Loch Ness. Today it boasts a 5 Star Grading (Scottish Tourist Board) for its excellent high tech experience that gives the visitor an understanding of the Worlds greatest body of water and the mystery surrounding it. It tells you everything you cant see by looking at it and was described by Scottish Natural Heriatge as "A Portal to the unique Phenomenon that is Loch Ness". Onsite there is a huge shopping complex with lots to see and do and various gift items from a vast rage. Allow a half day stop and you can also enjoy a boat ride on board Loch Ness research Vessel "Deepscan" during the summer months. There are also excellent catering facilities onsite.
Skiing in the Highlands
There are 5 downhill ski centres in Scotland as well as plenty other opportunities to enjoy the white stuff.
